1977 VENTURA MADE AT FUJIGEN GAKKI IS A 1962 FENDER JAZZ BASS COPY my most favorite guitar. MAde In japan, see the diference in the contours of the body compared to a 1962 american leo fender made jazz bass. and this wasn't done on purpose or on porpose. it was because the japanese haven't perfected thier cnc lathes to tool the edges the way the americans have done. it's the same with the mid 80's fujigen gakki factory fender assembled fender guitars except those were imported as body plugs and blank necks with serial numbers the finish was added the many differant configurations. that's what really confused the american Fender player. but if you look at some of the differant moded japanese models like the a series dh (double humbucker) 24 3/4 " neck length, you will have seen that the fender japan models curves were like this bass, rounder. where as the american makes are more squared off around the edges.
